Turquoise Mountain (TQM) was founded in Afghanistan in 2006 by HRH The Prince of Wales to rebuild historic communities and generate incomes through heritage and craft. TQM is registered in Scotland as a charitable trust No.SC037343. Rugs are hand woven by artisans using Ghazni wool, natural vegetable and mineral dyes. Each rug helps support a family or village in this unique collaboration.
